Asked Questions
1. What is the price to rent the Fire and Ice Hall?
The barn rents for $750.00 for 4 hours if we provide the catering and the catering menus start at $22.00 per person.If you wish to bring your own caterer in, the barn rents for $1500.00.
2. Can we come in early to decorate?
You may come in earlier in the day to decorate or even possibly the day prior to your event depending upon availability if the hall is not booked for those times.
3. What is the minimun number of guests?
Menus are available for a minimum of 75 guests, fewer guests may attend but there will be a charge for at least 75 guests.
4. What is the maximum number of guests?
We can seat @200 with a dance floor, or @250 without a dance floor. We also have additional area in the courtyard for seating if desired. The Silver Star Ranch is located on 40 acres of beautiful wooded Texas prime property so there is room for larger events and picnics utilizing the grounds and tents.
5. How much is the deposit and when are payments due?
A 50% deposit is required to secure a date with the balance due 5 days before the scheduled event. Menus require a 50% deposit 30 days before the date with the balance and final count due 5 days before the event.
6. How many hours are included in the price?
5 hours
7. Do I need to pick a menu when I place my deposit?
You may place your deposit to secure your date and then pick a menu at a later date, making sure to give us proper lead time.
8. Do you have heat or air conditioning?
We have area and blower heating units that can keep the room quite comfortable when necessary; we have giant fans that can move a tremendous amount of air and fans that pull air out of the top of the barn. Events scheduled in warmer months should be timed at and beyond sundown.
9. What about alcoholic beverages?
While our precinct was recently voted "wet", we do not sell alcoholic beverages. Clients may bring in, dispense and consume alcoholic beverages in accordance with Texas Law. The Silver Star Ranch and the Fire and Ice Hall are not responsible for the use or misuse of alcohol. No minors may consume alcohol on ranch property. Disregard of these privileges will result in ejection from the property. No tailgating parties are allowed in the parking lot.
10. What about under age drinking?
Alcoholic beverages must be consumed in accordance with Texas Law. No minors may consume alcohol on ranch property.
11. Do you accept credit cards?
We accept Master Card and Visa.
